Why there's no upload step
Amazon requires product images at least 1,000px on the longest side to enable the zoom feature customers rely on, and recommends 2,000–3,000px for the sharpest result. Resizing locally first — without uploading your product photo anywhere else — lets you check the exact crop and framing before it goes live on your listing.
Is my product photo uploaded anywhere?+
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser — nothing touches a server before you upload it to Seller Central yourself.
Does this also give my photo a pure white background?+
No — this tool only resizes. Amazon's main image requires a pure white (RGB 255,255,255) background, which needs to already be true of your source photo or added separately before resizing.
Will my product look stretched?+
No — aspect ratio is preserved, so your photo fits inside the 2000×2000 frame rather than being distorted.
Is 2000×2000 required, or just recommended?+
Amazon's hard minimum is 1,000px on the longest side; 2,000×2,000 is the recommended sweet spot for image quality and zoom, not a strict requirement.
