Why there's no upload step

Podcast cover art is a 1:1 square, and 3000×3000 is the universal safe size that satisfies every platform at once — Apple Podcasts (minimum 1400), Spotify (minimum 640), and YouTube. Apple also enforces a 512KB file cap, so export as JPG at 80–90% quality. Resizing locally keeps your artwork off any server on the way there.

Questions
Is my artwork uploaded anywhere?+

No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser — nothing touches a server before you upload it to your host yourself.

Why 3000×3000?+

It is the single size that meets every major platform's requirement, so you design and export once instead of per-platform.

What about Apple's 512KB limit?+

This tool resizes; to also hit the file-size cap, run the result through Compress Image afterwards.

Will my artwork look stretched?+

No — aspect ratio is preserved, so it fits inside the square rather than being distorted.
