Why there's no upload step
10KB is the harshest limit in the wild — it appears almost exclusively on exam and government application portals for signature and thumb-impression uploads. At this size, resolution matters more than anything: a signature scanned small compresses beautifully, while a full-resolution photo can't fit. The tool searches JPEG quality on your device until the file fits the limit.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?+
No — compression happens entirely in your browser, which is exactly what you want for a signature image.
Why does my photo look bad at 10KB?+
10KB simply can't hold a large photo. Resize the image smaller first (signatures are often required at around 140×60 pixels anyway) and it will fit at good quality.
What size should a signature image be?+
Check your portal's instructions — most Indian exam portals ask for roughly 140×60 px signatures and 3.5×4.5cm photos, then a size between 4KB and 20KB.
What format is the output?+
JPG, which is what these portals expect.
